Design for Touch
Interacting with the web through touch requires care and attention. You can’t count on the precision of a cursor and instead need to accommodate for people’s fat fingers. Make sure buttons, forms and other elements are large enough to interact with without fear of accidentally tapping/swiping on an adjacent element (quick example: keep “Cancel” away from “Submit” for form design).
Take ergonomics into consideration when designing touch-friendly experiences. Make important interactions easy to reach. Understand the differences between touch phones and tablets (how do users hold each of those devices and how do those differences affect your layout?).
